Having only been released in PAL territories today, an eager fan has revealed to the internet that the PS3 version of Bioshock comes with an extra scene at the end of the game which will no doubt excite those waiting anxiously for the sequel.

Spoilers ahead. Consider yourself warned.

The clip gives us the sight of of what appears to be a Little Sister, not quite so little anymore and all grown up, standing on a shoreline with a Big Daddy plushy in her hand. The camera then pans out, and a huge number of barnacles come out of the surface of this water.

Interesting footage to mull over as we contemplate where the sequel’s story will take us.

This is found in the Extras Option on the PS3!!

It shows a little sister all grown up holding a Big Daddy doll, then rocks erupt around her that gradually forms and symbolizes the cities of Rapture.

Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams seems takes place sometime after the original and somewhere along the Atlantic coast.

The game has been a confirmed prequel, taking place before the events of the first game, most likely in the battle between Ryan and Fontaine/Atlas, and will start off in the “civilised” Rapture before the anarchy events of the first game, but then collapsing into it. The game will most likely end where the first game started, most likely with Johnny telling Atlas about a crashed plane in the perimeter.
